What is it that makes a nursery so magical?
Could it be the love-filled anticipation of what’s to come — knowing you’re about to welcome a new family member into your home, and fill this empty room with love and life?
Or could it be the opportunity to work with a blank slate — to set up a nursery that captures your vision, tastes, and values, and incorporates elements from your favorite themes, styles, or elements of your very own childhood?
I remember everything from my own nursery journey: from choosing the color of the crib to the artwork inside the frames. It was like being an artist — working with a blank canvas, designing the most important room for bonding with our soon-to-arrive child. This would be the room that would house our child’s dreams, growth, and development. This would be the room in which I would share the most special early-morning, skin-to-skin bonding moments with my child, experience my child’s first yawn, hear my child’s first giggles, and lovingly embrace my new role as a parent, supporter, protector, and mentor.
This year marks the 80th anniversary of Storkcraft® — North America’s longest-standing name in baby cribs. This means that in 1945, the first Storkcraft® crib was hand-crafted in a garage, by a real father for his child. Much time has passed, but the same personal, “designed with love”, “by parent, for child” spirit lives on through Storkcraft®. And it is with this spirit of love, wonder, creativity, and bespoke design that we proudly introduce our new, premium collection: Art of Nursery™.

Introducing Art of Nursery™
Art of Nursery™ began with a soon-to-be, first-time father’s vision of a bespoke crib for his child. This vision was recorded as a hand-drawn sketch on a napkin, and then thoughtfully brought to life by Storkcraft’s expert team of designers and engineers. The result was the Santorini® crib — our first-ever Art of Nursery™ piece. Since then, Art of Nursery™ has blossomed into many more hand-sketched, one-of-a-kind nursery collections: Casablanca™, Kyoto™, Sicily™, Amalfi™, and Sorrento™ — with more to come. Our original founder’s hand-crafted crib—by father, for child—lives on through Art of Nursery™. The love and craftsmanship shine through.
We live in a fast-paced world in which artificial intelligence and smart devices have become mainstream. But just as this letter was hand-written with a pen and pad of paper, every Art of Nursery™ piece began as a hand-sketched idea, by a real parent, designed with love, thought, dedication, and passion. It is our honor and pleasure to introduce you to Art of Nursery™: Hand-sketched nursery designs, inspired by the beauty that surrounds us™.
From our family to yours,
