With its reversible headboard and customizable artwork panel, the Story gives parents the freedom to personalize their crib's look. The Story also features the space-saving convenience of a full-size storage drawer, allowing parents to store and organize nursery essentials beneath the crib. The Story is crafted from sustainable New Zealand pine wood, engineered wood, and wood composites, includes Euro drawer glides, and its applied finish has been tested to meet or exceed the applicable ASTM and CPSIA safety standards. The Graco® Story 5-in-1 Convertible Crib with Drawer is GREENGUARD Gold Certified — Certified products are screened for more than 15,000 chemicals and VOCs known to pollute indoor air. Also, the Story is Baby Safety Alliance Verified — meaning it’s been expert tested by third-party, accredited laboratories to meet or exceed all of the applicable category voluntary and mandatory safety standards. Designed to adapt to your growing baby, the Story is equipped with an adjustable mattress support base with 4 different height options – meaning, the height of the mattress support base can be lowered as your child grows (please note, this crib may only be used until your child can easily climb out or is taller than 35 inches). To support your child’s journey from babyhood to toddlerhood (and beyond), the Story is able to be converted from a crib to a toddler bed (compatible toddler guardrail kit sold separately), daybed, and full-size bed with headboard and optional footboard (compatible with full-size crib conversion kit, sold separately). Safe sleep As a member of the Baby Safety Alliance, Storkcraft® supports the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) in its effort to promote guidance for caregivers that is critical to safe sleep for infants: Babies should only be placed to sleep alone, on their back in a properly assembled, certified crib, mini crib, or bassinet with a firm mattress covered in a properly fitted sheet. No other items, including soft toys, pillows, bumper pads, blankets, comforters, quilts, or other bedding, should be placed in the sleep space. Following the AAP’s guidance is the most effective way known to ensure nothing interferes with baby’s breathing, and should be followed for every instance of unattended infant sleep. Storkcraft® products should always be used according to manufacturer recommendations, and only for the purpose for which they were designed, tested, and intended.
